Ruud Selles obtained his MSc from the faculty of Human Movement Science, Free University Amsterdam and his PhD from the department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, Erasmus University Rotterdam. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the Sensory-Motor Performance Program of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Northwestern University, he is now an associate professor at the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, working at the department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Physical Therapy and at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Hand Surgery. In his present work, Ruud Selles leads a research group on hand surgery and hand rehabilitation.
